Anatomy of the Spirit

anatony of the spirit

Funny enough after the last post I got to a section in the book I’m reading – ‘Anatomy of the Spirit’ by Caroline Myss, which made sense in my head in explaining why my body was the way it was after my holiday…

I am only half way reading this book and I highly recommend it already. Caroline starts by showing the similarity in the symbolic power of the Chakras system, the Christian Sacraments and the Ten Sefirot (the Jewish Kabala). I was just reading about the First Chakra: Tribal Power. Caroline writes that : “This Chakra grounds us. It is our connection to traditional familial beliefs that support the formation of identity and sense of belonging to a group of people in a geographic location.”

As I came back from Israel, my origin. My first Chakra was happy. The sense of connection was strong, energizing this Chakra. As I’ve left Israel, some of this energy has been lost. I do believe this has manifest itself in the physical sensations I have experienced this week as well as the struggle I had in my mind.

Energy is fascinating!
