Twenty-plus years navigating deadlines, teams and pressure in IT, and still there today. Yoga has come with me the whole way, and I'm grateful I get to bring it into the workplace, wherever that workplace is.
I've spent over two decades working in the IT industry, across start-up companies and large organisations, and across different industries, the kind of work that teaches you a lot about pressure, focus, and what happens to a body that sits at a desk for years on end. Yoga found me in the middle of that career, first as a way to cope, then as something I couldn't imagine my life without.
Wherever I've worked, I've always found a way to bring yoga with me into the workplace, and I'm grateful that I still can. Training as a Yoga Therapist let me turn that into something more intentional, helping individuals build or rebuild a personal practice, and helping workplaces balance the stress of corporate life, or any other demanding work.
My approach centres on mindful movement and breath as practical tools for balance, not just on the mat or chair, but in the middle of a demanding day. For corporate clients, that means sessions designed to reduce stress, enhance focus, and nurture resilience within fast-paced work environments, drawn from what I see and live myself in start-ups and large organisations alike. For personal students, it means practice that's customised to where you actually are, whether that's building strength or recovering from injury.
I'm a registered senior Yoga teacher and a Yoga therapist with Yoga Australia, based on the Gold Coast, teaching in person and, for corporate programs, online.
Whether it's a personal practice or a program for your team, I'd love to hear from you.
